Not far from the main Lawrence Equestrian Center, the LEC Riding Academy stands as a grand location for both the young and old to learn about the various riding disciplines. It was started by Christina Hanson and Rachel Andrews, the owners of the LEC, and there they have several instructors and horses employed specifically to specialize in teaching.

However, while the Academy serves as a facility for learning, it sponsors several of its students and graduates in competitions around the community; the most notable (in my case) is Margo May Kane, who represents the LEC Academy with her training horse, LEC Espresso.

The location has the facilities to house 10 horses, a tack room, a feed room, a lounge, a small showing ring, a jumping arena, and an outdoor dressage arena. It also connects to several trails that lead around the town of Appaloosa Plains.
